BISHOP TOUTS SMALL BUSINESS SUPPORT AT HAUPPAUGE

HAUPPAUGE — Congressman Tim Bishop visited GSE Dynamics in the Hauppauge Industrial Park on Friday, March 29 to provide an update on how policy developments in Congress could affect Long Island’s small business and manufacturing community. Bishop discussed his support for comprehensive immigration reform and took questions from members of the Hauppauge Industrial Association-Long Island on government regulations and the impact of budget cuts on defense contractors. Congressman Steve Israel also attended the forum.

New York’s First Congressional District, represented by Congressman Bishop, now includes most of the Hauppauge Industrial Park as a result of redistricting last year. Bishop said he is excited to work on small business issues with his new constituents in the HIA.
