At Maxxima, we are innovators dedicated to creating and developing technologically advanced LED lighting and electrical solutions for the consumer and transportation markets. We are looking for an experienced full-time Inside Sales Associate to join our growing consumer division, MaxximaStyle in Hauppauge, NY.

For this new role, we are seeking a driven, enthusiastic, and passionate professional to drive sales through new customer acquisition and building relationships with our existing customer base. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in sales, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious individual to join a growing company in an exciting new position.


  • Generating and prospecting new leads to drive incremental revenue from contractors, developers,        realtors, purchasing agents, distributors, interior designers and other industry professionals
  • Outbound calls to leads including customers who have purchased from us and are qualified for pro pricing but are not yet familiar with our MaxxBuyer program
  • Identify and pursue new lead sources and sales opportunities
  • Build rapport with customers, gain an understanding of their specific business needs and identify cross-sell opportunities
  • Develop expert product knowledge to educate our customers and answer technical questions
  • Establish and maintain relationships with existing customers
  • Assist with preparation of mailings and tradeshow materials
  • Provide support with placing orders and handling service issues as needed
  • Maintain organized and accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities and pipeline
  • Other sales support responsibilities as assigned


  • Bachelor's degree in sales, business, communications, or similar field of study preferred
  • Minimum 2 years of sales experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Basic understanding of sales principles
  • Ability to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks and maximize productivity
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
  • Field experience in electrical work or construction a plus
  • Salesforce experience a plus
  • Magento experience a plus

This role offers a base salary plus incentive. The base salary range for this position is $50k-$80k annually.
